After having spent many years in the corporate world, I decided I wanted to do something to help people at such a momentous time in their lives. Coupled with a long-standing passion for property and having recently been through the journey of repatriating to Australia, I moved into the world of property as a Buyers’ Agent.
Embarking on that journey home, after nearly 20 years abroad, is one that is fraught with tasks, doubts, considerations and choices. I was fully aware of how much I needed the help of professionals to guide me through one of my biggest decisions – deciding where to live, how much to spend and the countless hours required to find the right property.
Working with a Buyers’ Agent wasn’t new to me. I have always believed in employing professionals when expert knowledge is required and had previously worked with Buyers’ Agents in Australia, UK and Hong Kong. Without being on the ground or having the time required to put into the search, many of us fear being able to make the right decision – let alone having the local knowledge, access to information, negotiation skills or established networks to make it happen. And as 30% of properties sold are never actually advertised, we are all behind the pump from the outset without the help of those in the know.
So now I have the local knowledge of the Brisbane property market together with the shared experience of being a returning Australian expat. I look forward to understanding your property needs in this part of the world and being your ‘feet on the ground’ in your property search.
